4 years of DADI Home: when hospitality becomes opportunity

Today we celebrate 4 years of DADI Home, the project of Cooperativa Vite Vere that brings together work inclusion and tourism hospitality in the heart of Padua.

Originally established as an accommodation facility for job training of people with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disabilities, to guide them into the world of work, DADI Home has become a real meeting place: a space where inclusion isn’t just declared, but it’s practiced every day.

Four years on, the results speak for themselves. Hundreds of guests welcomed, stories intertwined, and above all, people who today have a concrete place in the workforce thanks to a journey that began here.

Of the 7 young adults who completed their training at DADI Home:

  • 2 have been hired with permanent contracts
  • 1 has been hired with a seasonal contract
  • 3 are currently in internships aimed at employment
  • 1 is continuing a work‑training program in a different setting

These outcomes are the result of a strong collaborative network involving everyone along the way: the young adults, their training tutors, the companies and the families. Only through consistent collaboration is it possible to build solid, satisfying, and long‑lasting employment pathways. The ongoing dialogue between tutors and companies also allows each journey to be monitored and supported wherever needed, walking alongside every person in their own path of growth.

Martina Vitiello, Project Coordinator: “Every successful job placement is a source of great pride for us, and confirms the importance of shared work. We hope this project will keep growing and opening new doors, offering more and more young people the chance to build their own future in the world of work.”

A special thank-you goes to our wonderful guests, who have come from all over the world and chosen DADI Home for their stay in Padua! Every arrival means so much more to us than a booking: it’s a proof that a project born from the heart can touch the people who discover it for the first time, offering an authentic and meaningful experience.

We can’t wait to welcome new people, new stories, and new cultures, because it’s exactly these encounters that give us the energy and enthusiasm to keep going, with the same passion we had on day one!
